In 2008, I moved interstate. To fill the gaps whilst job hunting, I bought myself a sewing machine. Then I discovered an awesome fabric store down the road.
With so much time on my hands, I decided to start making a couple of things for a market stall or perhaps to give to friend's babies. I designed a couple of outfits and made them up in cute fabrics.
Somewhere along the lines I heard about an online market stall website called Etsy. I got excited and listed a pair of pajamas, a pinafore, a set of bookends and a door stop (?!) and after a month, I made my first sale.
From then on, it was about working out what I enjoyed making and making NeverEver a brand rather than a simple store selling whatever. My denim rompers and the tuxedo bib are original 2008 designs, and NeverEver has now grown to use vintage fabrics, all cotton fabrics, and one-of-a-kind designs as well as old favourites.
